Exceptional Raised Wing Brant
I have spent many hours watching brant. The carver of this bird has done an excellent job of capturing the leaning head and high square back. The elaborately carved back and tail feathers, along with the pronounced raided carved wing tips make it very appealing. A great late '60s-mid '70s decoy.
 
Excellent original condition with no structural flaws.
Signed Barnes & Simpson, Parksley, VA. Purchased Oct '78 from the Mason Collection. Part of a private New England collection until the present.
